Local Partnership Meeting: Moderator Toolkit & Resources

This toolkit is intended to provide healthcare science instructors through the process of preparing for, hosting and facilitating a local partnership planning meeting. The toolkit can be used to initiate workgroups and/or partnerships, as well as 'check-in' format for pre-established groups on an annual basis. Partnership for Innovation: HIT Emphasis

As health science educators, we share a commitment to prepare engaging and relevant health science curriculum with our students within our districts, schools, and classrooms. This “Partners for Innovation” virtual event will bring together partners in the healthcare industry to provide content related to the “Focus on Introduction to Health Care Science Course 25.52100, Standard 12: Information Technology.” Within this event, we will share an overview of Information Technology in Healthcare and engage a panel of industry partners with expertise in healthcare information technology aspects ranging from medical records, cyber security and technology innovation utilization. Attendees will leave this session with a more robust awareness of information technology’s role in healthcare and the opportunity it affords students who may or may not have considered healthcare as their field of service post-graduation.
