Social Determinants of Health and Their Impact on Patient and Employee Health

Social Determinants of Health are the economic and social conditions that influence individual and group differences in health status. From living conditions, genetic risk factors, behavioral health issues, to way of life, individuals respond to their chronic conditions in different ways. This course focuses on the assessment of social determinants of health common in rural areas and how they impact courses of treatment. Discover innovative ways social determinant of health issues are being addressed by other hospitals in rural areas.
