Welcome to the Iowa FLEX Grant Information for 2017-2018

Overview & Purpose:  Iowa Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility (Flex) Program
Under the Flex Program, the Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Project (MBQIP) seeks to improve the quality of care provided in CAHs by voluntarily reporting measures not required by CMS. The Flex Program supports Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) to promote quality and performance improvement including:
– Stabilizing finances;
– Integrating emergency medical services into health care systems;
– Incorporating population health; and
– Fostering innovative models of health care.

Iowa Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Revenue Cycle Management Training – 2018 IDPH Grant/Project Contract #: 5888CA06
Includes Financial and Operational Improvement (Specific to Revenue Cycle Management)
