GA Health Science Education (HSE) Industry Certification:

We all are committed to helping to build the future healthcare workforce. This site was developed to provide resources to the teachers in high school Healthcare Science programs in Georgia to enable their successful completion of the Healthcare Science Education Program Industry Certification Process.
In partnership with the Georgia Department of Education – Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) division, the HSE IC Support Team at HomeTown Health, LLC, HomeTown Health University, and Sharon Norman coordinating the process, will help teachers toward successfully completing Healthcare Science Education Program Industry Certification.

Due to current travel restrictions at the school level, and in keeping with other considerations in a public health emergency, plans for virtual provision of these events are under consideration, as well as evaluation of dates/times/locations if a face-to-face event is possible. Health Science Education Programs selected for Industry Certification have access to student online training resources during the year through HTHU.net. To obtain ongoing access see program resources here. The development of these resources was in response to a survey of Georgia hospital Human Resource Directors.
For access to the courses, please follow the GA HSEIC Student Login Instructions provided to you. (If you need a copy, please email Meghan Williams at [email protected].) Login instructions will give you the student webpage for enrollment as well as account creation instructions and options for your school.
