Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) Prep: Virtual Book Club

Preparing for the CPHQ Exam: Virtual Book Club

The objective of the CPHQ Prep Virtual Book Club is to provide training, support, and sharing of best practices while preparing for the CPHQ exam. Utilizing the book club resource, The Janet A. Brown Healthcare Quality Handbook: A Professional Resource and Study Guide (27th Edition), each session includes informative discussion and a review of a particular section of the book. The series is led by Angie Charlet, DBA, MHA, RN who brings over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry focusing on regulations, quality initiatives, PCMH (patient-centered medical home) implementation, and care coordination.

The CPHQ Prep Virtual Book Club series is ideal for hospital quality managers at various stages of their careers. While the NAHQ recommends at least two years of real world experience for the exam, this series will provide insight and knowledge for anyone at any level of their professional quality career.

**This series of courses relies heavily on the book The Janet A. Brown Healthcare Quality Handbook: A Professional Resource and Study Guide (27th Ed.) It is strongly recommended that the book be read in conjunction with the courses.
