Leading Quality Series - Improving Patient Experience

The world of quality encompasses a large domain, especially when discussing quality within healthcare. Quality leaders are responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of a strong and successful operational quality program. To achieve this, they must possess and maintain valid knowledge and competencies that will assist them in becoming invaluable leaders and contributors to the future of their health facilities. This series is designed to address standard initiatives, as well as current regulatory initiatives that all quality leaders must comprehend to direct effective quality improvement programs within their own health care organizations. The series is comprised of the following courses:

    • Recall overarching themes related to high-performance on HCAHPS and alignment to core elements of quality infrastructure.
  • CMS Quality Measures: Spotlight on Digital Measures
    • Identify current CMS eCQM measures and aligned reporting requirements.
    • Recall the data utilized for the Hybrid-Hospital Wide Readmissions measure and identify if next steps are needed at your hospital for reporting.
    • Recall and share suggested strategies for improvement on the Safe Use of Opioids measure.
