Welcome staff! You are a valuable and vital part of the Patient Experience at Stephens County Hospital and we will be working together in the coming year to evaluate our current Patient Experiences, learn more about HCAHPS and Patient Experience, and grow together in healthcare hospitality excellence.

Employee Evaluation of the Patient Experience

All staff are required to complete the assessment linked below by May 31, 2017.
As part of continued improvement processes at Stephens County Hospital, all staff are required to complete the Employee Evaluation of Patient Experience assessment linked below. This Assessment is administered by HomeTown Health and responses will be provided to Stephens County Hospital without any staff identifiers included. Please include your honest and complete feedback on all survey responses so that we have an accurate assessment of your perceptions and our current Patient Experience profile. At the end of the survey, you will be asked to enter your 5-digit employee number – this number will NOT be released with your responses – but it used only to track completion by every staff member.

Online Employee Education: HCAHPS Certification

All staff are required to complete the online HCAHPS Certification by July 11, 2017.
As part of continued improvement processes at Stephens County Hospital, all staff are required to complete an online learning module HCAHPS Certification. This online module will ensure staff can define HCAHPS, recognize key best practices related to HCAHPS and key considerations in the Patient Experience at SCH. These modules will stop/start with you as you work through the material. To access this material, you will use SCHemployee# as your username and your password is password. Once you login the first time, please update your password to something more secure by clicking on your name in the top left and editing your information. Please also update your email address.

To get started on your HCAHPS Certification:
1. Go to the top of this page and click the blue LOGIN button.
2. Enter your username (SCHemployee#) and password password.
3. Click “ok” to take a site overview orientation, or “cancel” to bypass the orientation.
4. Scroll down slightly to your “My Enrolled Courses” and click the blue PLAY button to begin learning.

All staff are required to complete the online HCAHPS Certification by July 11, 2017.
