In order to maintain compliance with Joint Commission as well as ensure all employees receive the most up to date information, All New Hires must complete the following orientation classes within 7 days of their hire date. These classes are mandatory.

2017 Morgan Memorial Annual Education – This course is required for all employees in all departments at Morgan Memorial Hospital. This course must be completed by March 31, 2017.
FEMA: IS-100.HCB: Introduction to the Incident Command System (ICS100) for Healthcare/Hospitals REQUIRED for all MMH Employees
FEMA: IS-200.HCA: Applying ICS to Healthcare Organizations REQUIRED for All MMH Managers, MMH Emergency Department Staff, Charge Nurses/House Supervisors, Emergency Management Committee Members
FEMA: IS-700.A: National Incident Management System (NIMS) An Introduction REQUIRED for All MMH Managers, MMH Emergency Department Staff, ALL MMH Clinical Staff, Charge Nurses/House Supervisors, Emergency Management Committee Members
FEMA: IS-800.B: National Response Framework, An Introduction REQUIRED for MMH Emergency Department Staff, Charge Nurse / House Supervisors, Emergency Management Committee Members, All MMH Managers
Members of the Nursing Department are required to take the Competency Course related to their certification level. These courses are mandatory.
Required For New Hire RNs: Pharmacology Proficiency Exam
MPS Competencies – This course is required for the employees of the Physician Offices.
